Ken Sharpe is a Zimbabwean entrepreneur, property developer, and institutional builder whose business journey began at the age of 18 with the launch of his first company. From an early stage, he was driven by a conviction that sustainable economic emancipation in Africa must be achieved through enterprise creation, investment, and job generation.
Over the course of his career, Ken Sharpe has founded, built, and participated in more than 100 business ventures and over 30 strategic partnerships across diverse industries and geographies. Since 2006, his primary focus has been real estate and property development, through which he has sought to create long-term value, employment, and institutional-grade assets.
He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of WestProp Holdings, a customer-centric private real estate development company recognised for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments in Zimbabwe. Under his leadership, WestProp has grown into one of the country’s leading private developers, contributing to urban development, skills transfer, and large-scale job creation across the property value chain.
Ken Sharpe is also the Founder and Chairman of Sharpe Business Academy, established to translate real-world business experience into structured entrepreneurship and executive education. Through SBA, he champions practical skills development, disciplined execution, and enterprise leadership aligned with global standards and African realities.
Beyond business, Ken Sharpe’s leadership philosophy is deeply shaped by his faith, family values, and personal resilience. Thirteen years ago, he survived a near-fatal skiing accident — a defining moment that profoundly reshaped his perspective on purpose, stewardship, and leadership. He firmly believes that life itself is a gift from God, and that what one builds with it is a responsibility entrusted to them.
This philosophy underpins his commitment to achieving the impossible through determination, resilience, perseverance, and disciplined execution — values that continue to guide his work across business, education, and institutional development.

Joanna Sharpe is a Zimbabwean businesswoman, marketing leader, and philanthropist with a strong track record in corporate relations, brand strategy, and social impact.
She serves as a Board of Trustee and Head of Marketing at Sharpe Business Academy, where she provides strategic oversight and leads the Academy’s marketing, brand positioning, and stakeholder engagement. In this role, she supports SBA’s mission to build a globally respected entrepreneurship and executive education institution aligned with international standards.
Professionally, Joanna Sharpe is the Chief of Relations at WestProp Holdings, where she works closely with the executive leadership team to strengthen corporate partnerships, institutional reputation, and strategic communications. She also sits on the Advisory Council of the Freedom and Prosperity Center, contributing to dialogue and initiatives focused on economic freedom and prosperity.
In addition to her corporate work, she is the Co-Founder of West Group Security Services, an organisation established to create employment opportunities for youth and members of faith communities, reflecting her commitment to inclusive economic participation.
Joanna Sharpe is a recognised advocate for sustainability and social responsibility. She works closely with charities and non-governmental organisations, with a particular focus on supporting underprivileged and orphaned children through education, care, and community-based initiatives.
Her leadership and impact have been recognised through several honours, including The Zimbabwe CEO’s Network Woman of Excellence Award (2024) and The Diamond Outstanding Woman of the Year Award (2023) at the MegaFest Women’s Awards.

Dr. Rutendo “Dr. Ru” Mudzamiri is the Chief Executive Officer of Sharpe Business Academy, where she leads the institution’s strategic growth, academic development, and regional expansion.
She is a seasoned executive, development and partnerships leader with over 15 years of experience working across entrepreneurship, leadership development, international development, and institutional capacity building in Africa and globally. Her career spans senior leadership roles in leading international organisations, think tanks, and development institutions, with a strong track record in strategy execution, fundraising, partnerships, and programme design.
Prior to joining Sharpe Business Academy, Dr. Mudzamiri served in senior leadership roles at the international development organizations Silicon Valley, Califonia and Washington, D.C., where she led development operations and partnerships across Africa and emerging markets, raising multimillion-dollar funding for governance, economic development, and leadership initiatives.
At Sharpe Business Academy, she is responsible for institutional strategy, academic excellence, executive education development, corporate partnerships, and student outcomes. She leads the Academy’s vision to position SBA as a leading entrepreneurship and executive education institution in Africa, aligned with global business school standards.
Dr. Mudzamiri is widely recognised as a leadership architect, institutional strategist, and women’s empowerment catalyst. She has convened high-level regional and international forums, and has mentored thousands of young leaders and entrepreneurs across Africa, United Kingdom and the United States.
She holds advanced training in leadership, development, and institutional management and is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship, leadership, women’s empowerment, and African economic development.

Laura Dunduza serves as the Human Resources and Administrative Manager at Sharpe Business Academy, where she leads people management, organisational development, and administrative operations.
She brings over five years of experience in human resources and office management, with expertise spanning recruitment and selection, onboarding, conflict resolution, staff training and development, employee relations, office operations, and facilities management. Prior to joining Sharpe Business Academy, Laura held senior human resources and administrative roles in both the NGO and private sectors, where she strengthened internal systems and supported multi-project teams across programme and operations units.
At Sharpe Business Academy, Laura leads people management and institutional operations, driving effective recruitment, employee engagement, and operational efficiency in support of the Academy’s mission to develop high-performing entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders for Africa and emerging markets.

She leverages her research-driven leadership to align business development initiatives with global standards, ensuring sustainable value for students and institutional partners alike. At Sharpe Business Academy he is responsible for identifying potential sales opportunities, engaging and maintaining corporate relationships, and ensuring that the institute is heavily supported by financial governance and also government compliance. His role is to build a predictable and scalable revenue pipeline to support SBA’s ambition to become a regional Centre of excellence in leadership, enterprise and executive education. Tafadzwa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Midlands State University, with skills in customer relationship management and stakeholder management. Pfumojena is an accomplished Executive Assistant and administrative professional with more than two decades of experience supporting senior leadership and managing executive operations across diverse sectors including financial services, property development, recruitment, and manufacturing. She currently serves as Executive Assistant to the CEO at Sharpe Business Academy, where she runs the CEO’s office with precision, discretion, and institutional excellence. In this senior, high-trust role, she provides strategic executive support that enables the CEO to operate at peak effectiveness within a fast-moving academic and policy-facing environment. Ruramai is responsible for managing and optimising the CEO’s office. She also coordinates executive and institutional priorities, supports board and leadership meetings and follow-through across teams and stakeholders. Throughout her career, Ruramai has earned a reputation for professionalism, discretion, and organisational excellence. She has previously held senior executive support and administrative roles with organisations including Fidelity Life Assurance of Zimbabwe, Chilmund Chemicals and Speciss Holdings, where she supported executive leadership and managed key administrative and operational functions.
Ruramai holds a Diploma in Secretarial Administration (Distinction) and a Certificate in Office Administration (Distinction) from Speciss College.
